Medix is seeking an experienced, bilingual Physician Assistant to join a vibrant community clinic team. This role provides comprehensive primary care services to both adult and pediatric populations, managing daily case evaluations, health screenings, and preventative care education. Essential Responsibilities:
• Performing comprehensive history and physical examinations on adults and children (pre-employment, school, sports, and well-child screenings).
• Performing Pap smears, breast examinations, and counseling for birth control methods.
• Writing appropriate prescriptions and reviewing lab or diagnostic imaging results to coordinate necessary follow-up.
• Participating in quality assurance chart reviews, provider meetings, and clinical staff training.
• Providing administrative medical backup by responding to pharmacy requests, patient advisements, and patient triaging when required.
