Medix has partnered with an established ambulatory center to identify an Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner. This position is responsible for evaluating and treating patients with acute, non-life-threatening conditions within a high-volume, efficient clinical setting. Essential Responsibilities:
• Evaluating and treating acute conditions such as infections, minor fractures, lacerations, and sprains.
• Performing comprehensive patient histories and thorough physical examinations.
• Prescribing medications, outlining treatment plans, and providing comprehensive patient education.
• Maintaining accurate and timely electronic medical records (EMR) while collaborating with clinical and administrative staff to optimize patient flow.
