Description
Job Title: Dentist Location: Ashland & Houlton, ME Schedule: 4-day work week, 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our practice in Ashland & Houlton, ME. As a Dentist, you will provide exceptional dental care in a welcoming and patient-focused environment. You will deliver a wide range of dental services, including preventive care, restorative treatments, and patient education, ensuring the highest level of care for all patients. Key Responsibilities: - Patient Care: Perform a variety of dental procedures such as cleanings, fillings, root canals, extractions, crowns, bridges, and other restorative and preventative services.
- Diagnosis & Treatment Plans: Assess patient dental health and create comprehensive treatment plans that meet individual needs and concerns.
- Patient Education: Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and treatment options to improve and maintain their dental health.
- Collaborate with Dental Team: Work closely with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to ensure smooth and efficient patient flow.
- Maintain Patient Records: Accurately document patient care, treatments, and procedures in the system, ensuring compliance with all health regulations and standards.
- Emergency Care: Respond to urgent dental issues and provide immediate treatment when needed.
Qualifications: - Education: Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school.
- Licensure: Active and valid dental license to practice in the state of Maine.
- Experience: Prior experience as a dentist is preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
- Skills: Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain procedures and educate patients clearly. Exceptional manual dexterity and attention to detail.
- Certifications: CPR/BLS certification required.
