General Surgery Call Coverage Locums Job in Illinois | Seeking 7-10 Days of Coverage Starting in June + Ongoing

Jackson + Coker is partnered with a client located in southern Illinois that needs General Surgery call coverage for 10 days per month starting in June 2024. Ideally hoping to find a physician a consistent 7-10 days per month starting in June.

Description/Requirements for Assignment #101731:
* Active & unrestricted Illinois Medical License and CSR required 
* Must be able to provide your most recent 12 months of case logs (minimum of 50) at the time of presentation (these logs need to be dated for privileging purposes)
* ATLS certification required 
* Active/current Board Certification and/or true Eligibility required
* Bread & Butter General Surgery coverage, scopes are strongly preferred but not required
* Must be able to do central lines, PEG tubes, hemodialysis catheter placements
* Must be okay with receiving transfer patients from other smaller hospitals as needed
* Average patient volume of 8 PPD (can be up to 15 PPD at times); Average of 8-12 hours of work/day
* Will be credentialed at two different facilities & must be flexible on covering at either location (will not cover both in tandem)
* Epic EMR
