Duration: October 2023 - April 2024 (6 months)

Preferred Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts per week; 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Worksite Setting: Inpatient

Scope of Work: OBGYN/L&D; Pediatric Newborn Nursery

Location: Connecticut

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Advanced Practice Provider (APP) specializing in Obstetrics and Gynecology (OBGYN) to join our esteemed healthcare team in Connecticut. This exciting opportunity will allow you to contribute your expertise to a dynamic medical environment while providing exceptional care to our patients.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the OBGYN medical team to provide comprehensive patient care in both the Labor & Delivery (L&D) and Pediatric Newborn Nursery settings.
  • Conduct patient assessments, examinations, and medical histories to develop accurate diagnoses and treatment plans.
  • Administer treatment, medications, and procedures as required, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
  • Participate in the management of laboring patients, delivery of newborns, and postpartum care.
  • Provide guidance and education to patients and their families, addressing questions and concerns.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records (EMR) using EPIC.

Requirements:

  • Active Connecticut Advanced Practice License.
  • Board Certification (BC) in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
  • DEA/CSR certification.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
  • Prior experience in Pediatric Newborn Nursery care.
  • Proficiency in using EPIC EMR system.
