Orthopedic Physician Assistant Locums Job | Weekday Clinic + Procedure (First Assist) Coverage Starting ASAP
Jackson + Coker is partnered with a southern New Mexico facility that is actively recruiting for a locum tenens Orthopedic PA to assist with week day clinic & surgery coverage starting ASAP.
This is a weekday clinic, surgery (to include 1st assist) coverage opportunity with hours from 8A - 5P. Enjoy working a Monday-Friday clinic schedule and getting to enjoy your weekends off traveling and/or spending time with friends & family.
Dates of coverage needed:
* Seeking full-time weekday coverage starting ASAP
* Willing to consider candidates that can assist with 2-4 weeks/month
* No night or weekend call coverage responsibilities
* Ongoing assignment until perm position is filled
Details/Requirements for Assignment #101553:
-- Active & unrestricted New Mexico license, DEA + CSR is required
-- Board Certification or true Eligibility required
-- Seeking trained and/or heavily experienced Orthopedic specialized PA coverage
-- Must have experience as a First Assist PA (need First Assist coverage)
-- Can expect to work in the clinic (located on same campus as hospital) for 2 days/ week & to spend 2 1/2 days in the OR each week
-- Will have full anesthesia support (no moderate sedation required)
-- Will work alongside of 2 skilled Orthopedic Surgeons
-- Facility details: Cerner EMR, clinic is attached to main facility, less than 100 bed facility, level III trauma designation
