Description
Endocrinology Physician Locums Job | Long Term Assignment in Iowa
Dates of Coverage:
--Clinic coverage only Monday through Friday, 8AM-5PM
--Coverage needed for 6 months plus
Assignment #101151 Details/Requirements:
--Board Certification required
--Active Iowa license or IMLC is highly preferred
--BLS or ACLS certification required (or willing to obtain)
--Will see new patients and follow ups at least 12 patients per day
--Treatments required: full spectrum on endocrinology. Bone density in clinic. Stand along cancer treatment center, so cancer patients can be referred there for specific cancer treatments. Must be willing to prescribe anti-obesity meds (phentermine, Topamax, wegovy, etc.) along with the following patients (via labs an/or visits) for drugs such as methimazole and levothyroxine. A lot of diabetic patients.
