Description
Pediatric Hospitalist Locums Job in North Carolina | 2024 Coverage One of the largest and most prestigious facilities in North Carolina is seeking a pediatric hospitalist for locums coverage beginning in 2024. We've heard great feedback from locums physicians and APPs working here in the past and this opportunity will likely open up to future dates as well! --Coverage: May 16-18 + May 20-31, ongoing dates
--Schedule: 24 hour shifts comprising of call between the peds floor and nursery. Physician not required to stay in the hospital.
--Will see patients in the nursery and admit Pediatric patients
--Average total census: 5
--Average # of patients/day per provider: 2
--Average # of admits/day per provider: 2
--No ICU/critical care procedures
--Respond to codes
--10 bed pediatric unit
--Coverage of new born nursery: scheduled C-sections and deliveries. Not required to remain on site during call but must be within 30 minutes of the facility
--ED is low volume
--EMR: EPIC
