Description
Gastroenterologist Locums Job in New Mexico | Clinic + Call | Starting September + Ongoing in 2024 Jackson + Coker is partnered with a facility in central New Mexico that is seeking Gastroenterologist coverage. Coverage needs vary between outpatient and inpatient so if you have a preference for the type of coverage you'd like to provide, please specify. Job Requirements for Assignment #101317:
-- Active New Mexico license or IMLC accepted
-- Board Certification is required (or truly Board Eligible - with confirmation that you will be sitting for boards within 12-18 months of assignment)
-- Seeking full-time clinic + call coverage - willing to work with multiple providers and only physicians that can cover full weeks at a time
-- One option: Will cover an 8 hour clinic day Monday through Friday from 8A-5P + night and weekend call coverage is 1:5
-- Second option: Will cover 8 hours in house for rounding/inpatient services followed by night / weekend call
-- GI Lab three days/week averaging 18-20 procedures per day
-- Clinic the remaining weekdays averaging 18-20 patients per day
-- Can expect full clinic support – APP, RN & MA + APP inpatient support while on call
-- EMR is Epic
-- ERCP is required/EUS is preferred (must have case logs for ERCP privileges)
