Description
New Gastroenterology Physician Locum Job l Atlanta, Georgia
Start date: As soon as credentialed and ongoing
Full time inpatient hospital coverage: Monday-Friday, one weeknight call once every 2 weeks, one weekend every 2 months
Description/Requirements for Assignment #100984:
* Active Georgia license and Board Certification required
* Call is 1:8 for weekends
* All general Gastroenterology procedures
* ERCP/EUS not required
* There are currently 7 full time physicians on staff
* There is a full time APP that will work with the locum
* Average number of cases per day: 5
* Average number of consults per day: 5-8
* No clinic
* Hospital is a Level II trauma
* Anesthesia available 24/7
* EPIC EMR
* Local candidates within driving distance preferred
* Privileging process is typically 60-90 days
