Shift/Schedule:
- 24hr Call: Fri-Mon | 7a-7a |
Job Information: As a Pediatric Hospitalist in Pennsylvania, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to pediatric patients. Here are some key details about the position:
Typical Day:
- Possible 7:30 am C-section.
- Round with family practice residents on the nursery, Level 2 NICU, and floor patients between 9:30-10:00 am.
- Approximately 6 Nursery, 2 Level 2 NICU, and 2-3 floor patients/day.
- Midnight ADC 9-10.
- Supervise circumcision with residents.
- Attend all high-risk cases.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics
- Active Pennsylvania State License
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Pediatric Hospitalist
- DEA Certification
- ACLS, BLS, CPR, NALS, PALS Certifications
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive care to pediatric patients, including newborns, in a hospital setting.
- Collaborate with family practice residents and other healthcare professionals.
- Perform and supervise medical procedures as required.
- Attend and actively participate in high-risk cases.
