Description
Excellent OR Pediatric Hospitalist opportunity for Supplemental
coverage starting 4/19/24 or ASAP and ongoing.
Inpatient, Level II Nursery
Pediatric Call coverage
Call Shift: 7a-7a
Dates Needed:
Apr. 19-21
May 20-26
June 13-16
July 1-7
Orientation- 2-3 days expected
Shift: 24 hr. call with 8 hrs. roundings
Duties: Attending Physician for IP Peds and ED Consults, Rounding
on IP Peds and newborns in Family Birth Center, transfer critical patients
Required Procedures: Lumbar puncture, intubations, umbilical lines
Not required to be present for births, just examine and treat Neos.
Number of hrs. spent in-house varies, ave. 5-6 hrs. on clinical care per day
Can opt to spend extra time teaching students/residents.
Call Back: minimal
6 Bed Peds unit-average census 2 PED
4-6 Newborns, 0-1 Pediatric ave./day
2-4 Newborns <1 Pediatrics ave. admits
EMR: Patient Keeper (interface with MediTech)
Expenses covered, weekly pay and Occurance Form Malpractice insurance
provided.
