Description/Other Details:

We are currently seeking a dedicated Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Assistant for a locum tenens opportunity near Santa Fe Springs, CA. This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, with a call schedule of 1:2 (every other night and every other weekend). The role involves performing independent Endoscopic vein harvest and assisting with various open heart procedures, including CABG, valve repair/replacement, aneurysm repairs, ECMO, etc.

We prefer a candidate available full time but are open to flexible scheduling if the provider can commit to 3-4 days a week. For call responsibilities, providers are contacted on their cell phones and are only called back in 1-2 times per month. A valid California DEA is required for this position.
