Position Details:

• Coverage Need:
  • PTO/Vacation Coverage
• Schedule:
  • Sporadic ongoing dates
  • 8-hour days with schedule variations
• EMR:
  • Cerner/Community Works (CRNAs do not enter data into the system)
• Independence:
  • Work independently, with a provider or surgeon present
• Average Number of Surgical Cases Per Day:
  • Cataracts: 11 to 15
  • Other procedures: 3 to 4 (Colonoscopies/EGDs, Ortho, ENT)
  • Pain management cases included
• Trauma Level:
  • Level 4
• Annual ER Volume:
  • Around 5000
• Number of Operating Rooms:
  • 2

Training and Experience:

• Requirements:
  • No new grads
• Required Cases:
  • General surgery (adult and pediatric)
  • Minor nerve blocks
  • IV regional anesthesia
  • Spinal anesthesia
  • Regional anesthesia
  • Ventilation management
  • Local infiltration
  • Spinal only for total knees
  • Cataracts, Colonoscopies, EGDs, Ortho procedures, carpal tunnel, etc.
• Prefer Providers:
  • Within driving distance due to individual shifts
• Credentialing Timeframe:
  • Approximately 1 month or less

Certification and Licensing Requirements:

• NBCRNA Required
• Active IA License or IMLC in hand Required
• BLS, ACLS, PALS Required
• COVID Vaccine Required
• Local/within driving distance Required
