Physician / New York / Locum or Permanent / Call Center Representative - Medical Office Job

A Doctor's Office in Bethpage is seeking a professional to work in their call center. Shifts are 8 hours, NO WEEKENDS!

Job Function:

• Manage the registering, scheduling and rescheduling for all new and existing patients
• Record Management – Ensure the proper information is obtained and communicated with the patient (i.e. identification, patient history, insurance information, missed appointment policy, arrival instructions, intake form, etc.)
• Receive, screen and coordinate telephone calls from healthcare providers
• Direct calls to the appropriate departments
