Gastroenterologist Locums Job | Call Coverage in Northern Mississippi | Full-Time Call Coverage Schedule Starting January 1

Jackson + Coker's partner in northern Mississippi needs 3-5 GIs to fill a full-time call coverage schedule starting on January 1 of 2024 and ongoing. The facility is open to considering the availability of both, Advanced GIs (ERCP/EUS capable) and General GIs, and aims to have credentialing started within the week. 

Coverage Details for Assignment #99124:
-- Current Board Certification and/or true Eligibility required 
-- Active Mississippi medical license required (open to considering candidates who can obtain quick licensure via the IMLC)
-- 24-hour call coverage opportunity (no mention of clinic needs at this point) 
-- Will be covering the ED, see new consults, do emergent procedures & daily patient rounding while on assignment
-- Average # of cases vary due to the facility being located near a college town; Can anticipate between 5-12 PPD. 
-- Seeking to onboard a variation of advanced & general Gastroenterologists; ERCP is beneficial to the facility 
-- Additional information about mid-level support is pending 
-- Hospital details: 200+ bed facility, Level III Trauma designation, Epic EMR
