Job Opening: Neurosurgeon

Location: Michigan

Hospital/Facility: Level 2 Trauma Center

Position Type: Locum Tenens

Responsibilities:

• Join a dynamic Neurosurgery team in a Level 2 Trauma Center.
• Manage a high-volume practice with 90% outpatient and 10% inpatient responsibilities.
• Handle a diverse case load with 90% adult and 10% pediatric patients.
• See an average of 20-25 patients per day in the clinic, including approximately 5 new patients.
• Benefit from dedicated OR block time with state-of-the-art equipment and a specialized Neurosurgery OR team (2 days OR/3 days clinic).
• Work in a facility with a dedicated neuro-intensive care unit, stroke unit, and on-site neurosurgical services.

Procedures:

• Perform spine surgeries (Cervical, Thoracic, Lumbar) including Fusion and Decompression procedures.
• Conduct Kyphoplasty and Spinal Cord Stimulator (SCS) Implant procedures.
• Execute Craniectomy/Plasty and Shunt Placement surgeries.

Call Schedule:

• 1:4 call rotation.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified in Neurosurgery by the American Board of Neurological Surgery (ABNS).
• Open to new graduates.
