Practice Information
• Single-specialty group with 9 ORS physicians and 1 NS
• Private practice with fast partnership track, minimal buy-in (not required but usually done)
• Call arrangement 1 in 5 with new physician; on call for group city-wide but trauma goes to other Level II Trauma Center
• Only Orthopaedic group providing services to a market population of 300,000
• Types of procedures performed past year: ORIF, Total Knees, Total Hips, Shoulders, Arthroscopy Knees/Shoulders, Laminectomies, Lumbar & Cervical Fusions
• Outstanding state-of-the art building and offices
• Active patient charts: 16,000+
• Excellent salary and benefits provided by group for 1st year including health, disability and life insurance, malpractice, retirement planning, vacation
• Production based compensation after year 1
• Superior surgical unit at 211-bed acute care facility located a short distance from practice
• Area has less than 20% managed care
