New York - Gastroenterology

University Health Network /Medical Center in northern New York state seeks a BC/BE Gastroenterologist to join its practice.
The incoming physician will be employed by the University  Network Medical Group. The position offers competitive compensation along with a comprehensive benefit package including relocation and loan repayment assistance.

• Monday – Friday 8 am – 4:30 pm
• No call
• 3 days Clinic/ 2 days OR
• Clinic Support staff- 1 LPN and 1 Patient Access representative
• General Bread & Butter GI, Consults, Endoscopy (upper & lower), Colonoscopy

The Hospital is part of a six-hospital network serving northern NY and VT. It is comprised of a 75-bed acute care facility, four family health centers, a walk-in clinic, cancer center, orthopedic and physical rehabilitation center, cardiac rehabilitation unit, and a dental center. It provides a 24-hour, MD-staffed Emergency Department, laboratory, surgical services, and outpatient services, as well as a 135-bed Skilled Nursing Facility and 30-bed Assisted Living Program. Their hospital works closely with the certified Level III trauma center located 1 hour away, and with a Level I trauma center located 2 hours away.
