Assignment Details: Specialty: Neurology Location: Near O BRIEN, OR Start Date: November 1, 2023 End Date: Ongoing Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours Plus Call Patients Per Shift: 15 EMR System: Epic Board Certification: Eligible Hospital Stroke Certified: Yes Call Type: Beeper Call Response Time Required: 20 mins Call Schedule: Light hospital call (8-5, Mon-Fri) and clinic call (phone calls only, Mon-Sun, rarely called back in) Support Staff: RN: 1, MA: 6, Office Staff: 5 Required Skills: Radiologic exam interpretation (unofficial) Diagnostic/therapeutic taps Lumbar puncture Subdural taps Thrombolytic therapy EEG (Electroencephalogram) EMG (Electromyogram) NCV (Never Conduction Velocity tests) Evoked potentials Pain management procedures Peripheral nerve blocks Spinal/paraspinal/epidural blocks Botulinum toxin administration (Botox) Sleep studies Dyability evaluation This is a fantastic opportunity to explore the beautiful state of Oregon while making a meaningful impact on the lives of patients.
