Locum Tenens Pathologist Needed Location: Near Abingdon, Maryland Are you a skilled Pathologist looking for a locum tenens opportunity? We have a position available near Abingdon, Maryland, offering a unique experience to provide vital pathology services in both outpatient and inpatient settings. Assignment Details: Specialty: Pathology - Anatomic and Clinical Start Date: ASAP End Date: Ongoing Shift: Flexible schedule, with some on-call requirements Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours Only Practice Setting: Outpatient, Inpatient Practice Details: Board Certification: Required Fellowship: Preferred Minimum Board Certification: Certified License: Active Maryland license required Responsibilities: Independently work up and report complex cancer resections, including use of staging templates. Coverage of frozen sections and fine needle assessments of thyroid and pulmonary cases. Daily signout of various cases, including GI, liver, GYN, GU, and more. Participate in tumor board meetings.
