Description
Onsite Services Required | Adult Outpatient Psychiatrist Locum Tenens Job in the California Bay Area
Details/Requirements:
*Need one full-time Psychiatrist who is able to provide services in person only, no tele health.
*All adult, all outpatient, ages 25-70.
*Hours: 9A-5:30P, Monday through Friday.
*Welligent used for EMR and typically give the locum tenens doctors 2-3 hours per day for administrative time.
*Initial appointments are scheduled for one hour, with follow-ups scheduled for 30 minutes.
*Psychiatrists typically see 6-8 patients per day.
*No call.
*RN in onboarding and anticipate support staff will be one RN and one LVN.
*Medi-Cal and Medicare credentialing is preferred but can be completed in the onboarding process. Takes approximately less than a month for credentialing.
*Typical diagnoses: schizoaffective disorder, schizophrenia, bipolar I and II, co-occurring substance use disorders, and personality disorders.
*Three month minimum assignments preferred, but the longer the better.
