Coverage Needed

• Nov 24 (7a) " Nov 27 (7a)
• Ongoing needs

Schedule   

• Weekends  (Friday 7a to Monday 7a) " ongoing, 1-2 weekends per month
• Call 
  • Beeper
  • 10 mins response by phone, <30 mins arrival at hospital if required
  • Call ratio: Shared with one other ob/gyn
  • 100% call back
  • 0-2 phone consults on avg per 24 hours
  • 20 patients seen in office on avg per 24 hours
  • 1-2 admissions on avg per 24 hours 
  • Call coverage only to handle any labor/deliveries that came in and emergent GYN cases

Clinical Details    

• 0-2 patients per shift 
• Inpatient setting 
• 4 LDRP's, 3 post partum suites 
• There are no scheduled deliveries on the weekends " this would be for urgent cases or spontaneous deliveries

Requirements    

• Board certified
• Active VA license 
• ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS, NRP
• Electronic fetal monitoring (within last 2 years)

• Meditech
