- Compensation range from $125,000 to $470,000 not including bonuses or incentives.
- Compensation plan gives consideration to years of experience post-residency as well as specialty and sub-specialty board certifications.

-Sign-on bonus possibilities are negotiable, depending on position and experience</li> <li>Additional Info: Provide direct care to patients experiencing mental health crises, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and consult with the main emergency department. All sites are academic teaching sites with residents and medical students, affording many opportunities for teaching and mentoring.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
-Provide direct psychiatric assessment and treatment of patients
-Function as an integral part of a collaborative team within the emergency department
-Must possess a highly collaborative and proactive approach, and demonstrate commitment to high-quality, cost-effective healthcare
QUALIFICATIONS:
- New York State license
- BE/BC in General Psychiatry
- Strong teaching and leadership skills
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- At least one-year post-residency clinical experience in an acute care psychiatric setting preferred.</li>
