Clinical Details
- Patient demographic: Adults in the endoscopy suite
- Lab onsite
- X-ray onsite
- 12-14 patients per day
Requirements
- Board certified or eligible
- Must be interested in locum to perm
- Active IA license or IMLC in hand
- Either ACLS, APLS, PALS, NALS, or ATLS cert is required because this role needs moderate sedation privileges for scoping and CPR certification is required to obtain moderate sedation privileges
- Must be available full time for a 6 month assignment
- Clean background/malpractice
- Covid vaccinated
- Required procedures: esophageal dilatation/manometry, small bowel biosp, lower GI endoscopy, sigmoidoscopy, colonoscopy
- Required types of upper GI endoscopy: with biopsy, with foreign body removal, with banding of varices, diagnostic, with PEG (percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy), possible ERCP's
