Description
Coverage Needed
Schedule
- 1 week: Monday at 7A to the following Monday at 7A.
- Est. 7 shifts/month
Clinical Details
- No general neurology coverage. No outpatient/clinic.
- Inpatient rounding (up to 20 patients), inpatient consults, ED consults, respond to stroke codes.
- Round on stroke patients on weekends. Hospitalists admit patients, locum vascular neurologist is a consultant and will place some orders.
- Will work solo
- 100% adult
- Typical cases seen: Inpatient stroke patients and patients with stroke complications
Requirements
- ACLS
- Stroke certified
- PA license
- Will accept candidates needing to obtain a license
- Board certified/eligible by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology
- Must have completed vascular neurology fellowship
