Physician / New York / Locum or Permanent / MD - Urologist Job

Academic medical center in the Bronx is seeking a Urologist. Competitive compensation plan with hospital-employed benefits package.

Job Function:

• Large teaching hospital in the Bronx with medical students and residents with a clinically rich environment
• Department consists of two full time physicians and 1 urology NP, overseen by department of surgery
• Clinical component includes 3 clinical sessions (1.5 days) of office time, 2 OR days per week and remaining for admin and consultations
• Call schedule shared for consults but have PAs onsite nights and weekends so only have to come in if patient needs to go to OR
• No late evenings or weekend hours in the office
• Many kidney stone cases, BPH, urinary incontinence, also big opportunity to build out female urology if desired
