Jordan Search Consultants has been retained to assist the prestigious Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) with their search for a board-certified or eligible Pediatric Hematologist/Oncologist for their Amarillo Campus. This campus serves the Texas Panhandle and surrounding areas in New Mexico, Colorado, Kansas, and Oklahoma.    This is a full-time employed faculty position with outpatient and inpatient responsibilities and provides inpatient services at 2 hospitals that are on the same campus. Competitive base salary plus productivity, comprehensive benefits package, signing bonus, and relocation are provided.  
 
Responsibilities/Requirements:
  • Provides patient care in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology to newborns, children, and adolescents 
  • Supervises medical students, residents, and advanced practice professionals in the clinical setting 
  • Participates in the education of medical students and residents 
  • Conducts research and scholarly activities within the Department of Pediatrics 
  • Ensures compliance with HIPAA and billing regulations 
  • Demonstrate Professionalism in accordance with the Paul L. Foster School of Medicine's Declaration of Faculty Professional Responsibility 
  • M.D./D.O. degree or foreign medical equivalent degree 
  • Successful completion of an ACGME-accredited Pediatrics Residency Program 
  • Successful completion of an ACGME-accredited Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Fellowship Program 
  • Texas license or eligibility for licensure in Texas 
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish Preferred) 
  • Experience in teaching students and residents in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology 
  • Emerging or established regional or national reputation for the rank of associate professor or higher 
  • Board certification in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology by the American Board of Pediatrics
