- Recent graduates and experienced neonatologists with training or experience in level IV NICU are invited to consider joining our division working alongside a team of experienced neonatal nurse practitioners.
- We are the only hospital in Louisiana to provide both Level IV neonatal and obstetric care at the same facility, Ochsner Baptist Hospital.
Our state-of-the-art 54-bed, level IV NICU was constructed in 2015 and has private rooms for singleton patients as well as multiples. It is the hub for our system of 5 Ochsner NICUs in the New Orleans area. Annual deliveries are growing toward 4,000 and high-risk maternal patients are cared for by our large network of maternal-fetal medicine physicians. Our section of fetal echo is located at Ochsner Baptist Hospital and coordinates the care of babies with complex congenital heart diseases. We serve the entire Gulf South region with an established ground and air neonatal transport system.</li>
