Currently seeking Full Spectrum, Family Medicine, Core Faculty Physicians for a 6-6-6 Family Medicine Residency Program based in a 116-bed community hospital. These are employed positions for the Hospital’s Family Medicine Residency Program, located in historic southwest Virginia.

The ideal candidates must be Family Medicine board certified with experience in full-scope family medicine including obstetrics and a desire to provide patient care in the inpatient and outpatient settings. Fellowship training preferred, but not required. Physicians must have a strong commitment to graduate medical education. These are full-time positions with the following required duties: handling administrative duties for the GME program, which includes resident supervision in the clinic and hospital, attendance at meetings, candidate interviews, curriculum development, and research; and direct patient care and clinical activities working with our residents in both inpatient and outpatient settings. The main focus of these positions will primarily be the teaching of residents but will also have responsibilities for teaching medical students and oversight of advanced practice providers.

About the Hospital:
