Description
Non-profit medical center serving Horry County & surrounding counties 15 minutes outside of Myrtle Beach, SC is seeking BE/BC Interventional Cardiologist to join its team. In 2020 - the medical center was transferring out 140 cases per year non-STEMI and 50-55 CABGs per year. Team wants to capture more of those interventional cardiology cases.
- Team of 5 MDs & 3 NPs
- Physician will have dedicated RN “side by side”
- Same week for new patients
- Globus Celsius robot
- Consultative services only as Hospitalist handles admissions
- Stress test and echoes done in the Cardiac Care clinic
- Cath Lab 500 cases with 2nd cath lab under construction
- You decide how much you want to do for general versus interventional
- The cardiology and oncology department are both affiliated with the Duke Health Network (DNH)
- Open to someone who would like to start a TAVR program
- Full time position – Monday thru Friday
o 4.5 days clinic time with .5-day admin time per week
o 36 patient contact hours - Call: 1:3 STEMI Call and 1:6 Cardiology Call
Compensation & Benefits:
- Base 1 - 3 years then RVU
- CME: 5 days & 3K
