Description
Physician-led Anesthesiology group is hiring an Anesthesiologist east of Harrisburg, PA.
Be a part of our dynamic and growing team where you will work alongside top providers while enjoying a positive work-life balance. The case demographics include general, orthopedics, urology, electrophysiology, obstetrics, vascular, cardiac. There is limited pediatrics cases and no neuro cases.
- High functioning ER – pretty busy
- Hospital has 11 ORs, 2 endo rooms
- Surgery Center has 4 ORs and 2 rooms do endo
- EMR – EPIC
- 5 PACU spots
- 7 physicians total, 1 in 7 call – in-house, pair up weekends – on call doc, Friday and Sunday, the back-up doc
- CRNAs are called in for an overnight case
- 3 cardiac anesthesiologists
Cases - 9-10k case volume
- Cases include just about everything except peds/neuro, An occasional ENT peds, maybe once a month,
- Huge on regional cases – ultrasound machines Some ortho – should rotator cuff, knees, scopes, basic ortho, they have a day of just cataracts and ortho
- 1 heart surgeon – mostly cabbages, off pumps; about 1 case/day, 3 times/week
- 150-180 cardiac cases/year
- About 30-50 deliveries/month, about 1-3day
- docs do the epidurals
- CRNAs c section
- 20-30% average c-section,
