Medical Group is seeking a Board Certified/Eligible Anesthesiologist for a full-time clinical practice at a community based Medical Center that is a University affiliated teaching facility in Phoenix. ACS verified and State designated Level 1 Adult Trauma, Level 2 Pediatric Trauma, and ABA verified Burn Center in the metropolitan Phoenix area.

• The procedural disciplines covered by anesthesia include the following subspecialties of Surgery: general surgery, plastics, burn, level 1 adult trauma, level 2 pediatric trauma, pediatric, OBGYN, vascular, neuro, urology, Ortho trauma/elective, podiatry, breast, ophthalmology, hand, and off-site anesthesia/sedation for radiology, nuclear medicine, and endoscopy procedures
• TEE equipment is available to our anesthesiologists for perioperative and critical care patients.
• About 11,000 anesthesia encounters generated per year.
• In-house call is 4-5 times per month.
  
• Anesthesia department consists of a group of approximately 10 MDA’s and 35 CRNAs.

• Position requires flexibility, excellent interpersonal skills, and ability to work with high acuity adult and pediatric patients while supervising and teaching emergency medicine and surgery residents, CRNAs, student nurse anesthetist, and medical students. This teaching exposure creates opportunity for our physicians to apply to our university affiliations for academic appointment.
