Description
The Hospitalist locum tenens opportunity in Louisiana…
-Duration: September – March 2022 (potential for extension)
-Location: Morgan City, LA
-Schedule: 1-2 weekends per month
-Shift: Friday 5p - Monday 7a
-Dates: Friday Sept 3rd 5p - Tuesday September 7th 7a (future dates TBD)
-Scope: 24 hr call, providers usually working 7a-5p and then evening call Admits/discharges/rounding (each patient must be seen once daily). No procedure.
-Volume: 15-20 patients/day; with recent surge, one day they had 31 to be seen. This is going up/down daily. Admits/discharges is between 5-8 over any given weekend.
-EMR: Epic
-Hospital: 164 beds, no trauma designation
-Required: Board certified or board eligible with a Louisiana or compact license
