Description
Specialty: Psychologist
Location: Northern Florida
Schedule: Monday-Friday (8a-5p) with 30 minute lunch (On Call: Frequency: None)
Open to 2-3 days per week
Duration of Assignment: ASAP OngoingJob Details • Practice Setting: Corrections
• Provider will be solo, supervising Masters level clinicians (2nd reviews). Sign off on transfers, suicide risk assessments, and disciplinary reviews.
• Patient volume varies daily. Some may do rounds in a confinement dorm, or some days they may do 4 evals. Depends on the needs of the day and assignment.
• Type of Security: Minimum Medium-
o Male Number of Inmates: 1177 (2 units – Main and annex. 1 mental health professionals at one side and 5 at the other. One side only has 30-40 while the other is a full unit. The provider would have heavier admin duties on the lower population site. Will work with re-entry specialist & clerk.)
o Age range: 18-78
o Acuity Level: high
