Description
VISTA's New York partner is in need of locum tenens coverage with a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with robust experience in Emergency Medicine and/or Urgent Care. We are looking for several excellent candidates to credential in anticipation of the busy 2020 fall/winter season!
Location: New York
Specialist: Physician Assistant and Nurse Practitioner
Training: 1+ years experience
Duration: Ongoing while hiring
Board requirement: Board certified
Schedule: Open 7 days per week
Shifts: 8 hours/12 hours
Call: None
Hours: 8a - 8p, 9a - 5p
Procedures: Minor outpatient procedures: suturing, splinting, incision & drainage of cyst and abscess, foreign body removal, cautery, skin biopsy, circumcision, pap smear, urinary catheterization
Census: 25+
Type of facility: Clinic
Back-up: Some sites are solo provider
EMR: EPIC Systems
License requirement: Must be licensed before presentation
Travel and Housing: Local
Privileges: 90 days
