Description
We are seeking a qualified General Radiology Physician for an immediate opening. Our Client has 24 practice medical offices located in 12 states 22 cities in the USA. There are 35 health care providers, specializing in Diagnostic Radiology, Nuclear Medicine, and Interventional Radiology.

Our client offers the following benefits:

$390,000- $425,000 annual starting salary, based on experience
Part of an 18-person Group with 3 Interventional Radiologist
Full time 42 weeks on and 10 weeks’ vacation
7 on 7 off primarily day shift.
One weekend in 4
No call
Benefits and Compensation market competitive
Available within 90 days signing bonus consideration.

Skills
A General Radiology Physician is a physician or medical specialist trained in obtaining and interpreting medical images. Images may be obtained with x-rays, (CT scans or radiographs), nuclear medicine (involving radioactive substances, magnetism (MRI), or ultrasound. The physician uses medical imaging in addition to the traditional tasks of examining patients, obtaining medical history, diagnosing illness and prescribing treatment. Since radiology is used in conjunction with most medical specialties, radiologists have a comprehensive understanding of physical anatomy and the components of human health.

Additional responsibilities for the Radiology Physician include:

Average 100-115 cases a day
Reads include: CT Scans, Ultrasound, Plain Films(Xray), MRI and Nuclear Medicine
All electronic/digital reading
Reports to Radiology Manager

Specific qualifications for the Radiology Physician role include:

Must have engaging & outgoing personality in workplace
Board Certification in Radiology or Board Eligible
Licensed to practice medicine in the state of Ohio
Fellowship in Nuclear Medicine, Body Imaging, or Breast Imaging preferred.
